ABOUT OUR FAMILY

In 2016, our family was blessed with the opportunity to retire from the military life and start growing new roots here in Missouri. Since then, we have been working hard helping to educate ourselves, our family, and our community on raising home grown goodness. With blended backgrounds in being a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation, and a teacher it’s in our DNA to learn, educate and explore opportunities and possibilities. We have embraced giving our 5 children, ranging from the ages of 12 to 27years of age, the life experiences to carry on the meaning behind where food comes from, how to maximize resources, develop work ethic, serving others, have faith, balance responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.

We have 6 wonderful miniature dachshunds named Wilma, Luna, Princess, Daisy Mae, Tommy, and Hudson, as well as 1 miniature Australian Shepard named Granger, and a Weimaraner named Oliver.

Our cows love to be fed corn chips, the pigs love to take mud baths with their sprinkler hose, the turkey will follow you until you say hello, our sheep like to say baaaaaello, the ducks lead you to the pond to go fishing and the chickens are always creating an egg hunt.

Here on the farm, there is something always to be done and always something to be thankful for.
